Stuarts Endurance Road Bike
Stu was after an endurance road bike that would have all day comfort on the roads and lanes of Mid Wales but still be quick enough for fast social rides with the “carbon boys”.
Stu owns and runs his own bike shop, so over the years he has had the chance to test out countless bikes and he knows what works well for him and how he likes a bike to feel on the road.
Using his wealth of knowledge and using fit data from Backstedt Bikefit we designed an endurance road bike that not only fits perfectly bu has the handling characteristics he desires.
The frame is built using a mix of Columbus Spirit and Life tubing and features fully lined stainless steel internal cable routing to keep things looking clean and simple.
Of course the frame is fitted for thru axle and flat mount disc brakes and also features a T47 bottom bracket.
The 32c tyre clearance helps add comfort on the rough roads of mid wales
Paint carried out by Summit Customs has been inspired by the Aston Martin Valhalla concept car which Stu instantly fell in love with and looks great paired with subtle black logos throughout.
