Tom’s Porteur

Tom got in touch as he was after a bike he could use as his daily. He wanted it for nipping around town, commuting to work and for popping to the allotment.

About

Tom wouldn’t describe himself has a bike nut, he simply has a bike as his main form of transport.

His brief was fairly simple. The bike would be used as his daily and must be simple to use and fix.

The bike will be used for blasting around town, commuting to work and popping to the allotment.

We decided a traditional lugged porteur inspired build would be most appropriate with front rack for shopping, bags and veggies

Tom didn’t want a full range of new components as he wanted to transfer some from his current bike.

As this bike will be used in Wales full mudguards were paramount.
