This lugged steed was the first bike I had ever made.
Completely self taught and guided by a copy of the Paterek Manual and online forums.
Using only hand files, an old Andrew Hauge jig picked up from Gumtree and a near empty oxy-acetylene set up, I worked in my spare time to put this together.
This bike was built purely for the streets.
It has been made with complete simplicity in mind, from the 7 speed downtube shifter, caliper brake setup and exposed tubing that will age with time.
Designed to get me from A to B, designed to be locked up in town without needing to worry about it.
